About Habit School
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

"You cannot change your future, but you can change your habits, and surely your habits will change your future."
By APJ Abdul Kalam

We know the importance of this sentence of Kalam sir when we become parents, no one will disagree that if we adopt right habits at the right time, the future of children will be secured.

Excellence happens not by accident. It is process.
By A P J Abdul Kalam.

So what exactly is this process? When to make habits? How to apply?

Before that, understand the stage according to the age of your children.

The infant stage is past you, you have one year of the child stage and the teenage stage is left to you. That means you can practice all the above habits in the period of 5 years to 8 years.

Infancy - from conception to five years

  • During this period, the sense organs work the most.
  • We learn the mother tongue only as a whole

Childhood stage - six years to twelve years

  • This is the imitative age, in which parents are most copied.
  • So parents should be busy during this period in most of the various activities.

Adolescence – Thirteen to sixteen years

  • If there is time to make good habits during this period, it should be forced and punished.
  • However, to form the habits, you must ready for them.

Many parents think that we should give time to our children after 10th standard. But for your information, children adopt 65% of their parents' habits within five years. Parents need to be most vigilant during the first five years.

If you want to be worry free in the future (regarding children's business/job, health, money/wealth) then you have to work hard for these four years, because the habits of this period will shape their future. Now is the time to put them on autopilot mode.
